Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup Unsalted sweet cream butter (softened)
  • 1/4 cup Canola oil
  • 3/4 cup Sugar
  • 1 cup Whole milk
  • 2 pcs eggs (large)
  • 2 tsp Vanilla
  • 2 pcs Carrots (large)
  • 2 2/3 cup Flour
  • 1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp Nutmeg
  • 1 1/2 cup Mini chocolate chips
  • 1 cup Powedered sugar
  • 1/4 cup Whole milk
  • 1 tbsp Light corn syrup
  • 1 tbsp Cinnamon

Instructions

Donuts

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
  2. Spray a 6-cavity donut pan with baking spray.
  3. Using a large bowl, beat the butter and oil together until combined.
  4. Whisk in the sugar.
  5. Whisk in the milk, eggs, and vanilla until combined.
  6. Whisk flour, baking powder, cinnamon, salt, baking soda, and nutmeg together in a separate bowl.
  7. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients.
  8. Fold in 1 cup of mini chocolate chips.
  9. Using a piping bag or spoon, fill the donut pan about 3/4 full.
  10. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes.
  11. Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing and placing onto a wire rack.

Cinnamon Glaze

  1. Using a large bowl, whisk all ingredients together until combined.
  2. Dip the donuts into the glaze and place onto the wire rack to dry.
  3. Sprinkle some mini chocolate chip on top.
