  • 1 cup Unsalted Sweet Cream Butter (cut into small cubes)
  • 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • 2 Eggs (room temp)
  • 1 1/2 cups Cake Flour
  • 1 1/2 cups Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Cornstarch
  • 3/4 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 3/4 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Chocolate Chips
  • 2 cups Pecans roughly (crushed)
  • 12 Godiva Chocolate ganache balls


Godiva Chocolate Filling

  1. Place chocolate chips in a medium heat-proof bowl and set aside.
  2. In a small saucepan, heat the cream until boiling.
  3. Pour the hot cream over the chocolate and let it sit for a few minutes.
  4. Whisk the chocolate until smooth, then add the Godiva liquor and combine.
  5. Use an ice cream scoop to form ganache balls and freeze for an hour.

Cookie Dough Preparation

  1. Preheat the oven to 410 degrees.
  2. Mix butter, brown sugar, and sugar until creamy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, then gradually mix in the flour mixture.
  4. Stir in chocolate chips and pecans.
  5. Scoop dough balls onto parchment-lined sheets.
  6. Split a dough ball in half, place a frozen ganache ball in the center, and seal with the other half.
  7. Roll into a ball and repeat with the remaining dough balls.

Assembling The Cookies

  1. Bake for 9-12 minutes until golden brown.
  2. Allow the cookies to cool for at least 10 minutes before serving.
