2 pounds (about 900g) ground beef (you can also use a combination of ground beef and pork)
– 1 cup breadcrumbs
– 1/2 cup milk
– 2 large eggs, lightly beaten
– 1 small onion, finely chopped
– 2 cloves garlic, minced
– 1/4 cup ketchup
– 2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
– 1 teaspoon dried thyme
– 1 teaspoon dried oregano
– 1 teaspoon paprika
– Salt and pepper, to taste
– For the glaze:
– 1/2 cup ketchup
– 2 tablespoons brown sugar
– 1 tablespoon mustard


In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, eggs, chopped onion, minced garlic, ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, dried thyme, dried oregano, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.

2. Shape the meat mixture into a loaf and place it in the center of a slow cooker lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil for easier cleanup.

3. In a small bowl, mix together the ingredients for the glaze: ketchup, brown sugar, and mustard. Spread the glaze evenly over the top of the meatloaf.
